How did you get into padel?
At one point, I realized how much I enjoyed racket sports and decided to try a few different ones. Since I already had experience playing table tennis (13 years) and tennis (2 years), I knew I could hold my own against other players at an amateur level. So I signed up for a table tennis tournament, a one-on-one tennis match, and an open game in padel. But as soon as I finished my first padel open game, I knew I had fallen in love with the sport. From that moment on, I started playing matches and tournaments every single day. That was back in January 2024.
What's your best moment at a PPS event so far?
Definitely my first victory with Lau at PPS #13, held at PTP Kathu. It was a long-term goal of mine, and finally achieving it brought an incredible wave of emotions and joy. I was truly happy that day, October 26, 2025.
Who's the toughest opponent you've faced? (Be honest!)
I would say Jose Mouliaa. Playing against him, I felt that his understanding of the game was at the Premier Padel level. It seemed like he could return even my most difficult shots without the slightest effort. I was incredibly impressed by that.
One thing people don't know about you?
The person I am on the court and the person I am in everyday life are quite different. On the court, I might come across as nervous, angry, or even aggressive, but off the court, I genuinely consider myself an empathetic, kind, and caring person who loves everyone without exception.
Your advice for someone playing their first PPS event?
Enjoy it! Usually, your first professional tournament reveals your true level. If you notice a significant gap between yourself and your opponents, just keep playing, improving, and learning. It’s simply part of sports. The most important things are persistence and setting clear, small, achievable goals that will motivate you to keep moving toward bigger ones.
