How did you get into padel?
My husband was disappearing from the house for a year to play padel and I just wanted to know what was making him leave the beautiful comforts of our home...then I became worse than him.
What's your best moment at a PPS event so far?
I think it was the last time were played at PTP. I made it to 3 finals and lost them all.
In mix, I didn't think we even had a chance against Tanya and Mark in the first round but we made it. And in the finals, both Azz and I didn't think we had a slight chance against Regina and Andrey but ended up winning the first set. Second set was so close we lost in the tie break. And third set we just lost steam from exhaustion.
I appreciated what that weekend taught me and I felt really good about it.
Who's the toughest opponent you've faced? (Be honest!)
Regina is my Mount Everest. I haven't won a match against her yet. I'm coming for you.
One thing people don't know about you?
I'm not as dramatic or competitive as I look lol, but I will fight to the death for fairness.
Your advice for someone playing their first PPS event?
Just do it! Don't focus on the win or the loss. Don't worry if you think you'll look stupid or play bad. I've met so many people that don't have the confidence to do it but it's honestly the only way to improve faster and it teaches you so much mental strength along the way.
