PPS 16 is now an APPT Challenger

Starting with PPS #16 at Padel Rawai, PPS events can be hosted as an APPT Challenger — a tournament level powered by APPT and run by the local host club.

What is an APPT Challenger?
  • Run by local clubs, but linked to & powered by APPT.
  • Sits below APPT Open level (typically smaller prize money and APPT ranking points).
  • Built to keep the same tournament quality & atmosphere.
Categories
  • Pro + Amateur divisions
  • Male / Female / Mixed
  • Same core structure players already know — now aligned with APPT.
Key Challenger Rule (Pro)

In Pro categories, Top 30 ranked Male players and Top 20 ranked Female players cannot pair together.

✅ Creates fresh partner combinations
✅ Gives more players a real shot at deep runs
